Project research questions

The overarching research objective of CARE-MSoC relates to advancing understanding of the factors and processes which enable participatory TPE archaeology programmes to build social capital, reduce social fragmentation and enrich lives for rural residents and rural communities in different cultural contexts in order to facilitate the expansion of such socially beneficial outcomes transnationally in the future. This will be explored collaboratively using participant observation, participant reporting, digital data analysis and community consultation to address three main themes:
