CARE-MSoC’s interdisciplinary consortium has been carefully assembled in order to provide the required range of discrete but complementary knowledge, skills and experience necessary for CARE-MSoC to succeed in aims aim of taking heritage practice beyond its current the state of the art to embrace new approaches to meeting societal challenges. The first four PIs all have strong backgrounds in archaeological fieldwork, the core activity of CARE-MSoC, an each contribute an in-depth specialist academic knowledge of rural settlement studies in their respective countries which complement each other without resource-wasting duplication.
